Édison Carlos

Position: President

Organization: Aegea Institute

Bio: He holds a degree in Industrial Chemist from the Oswaldo Cruz School of Chemistry and a postgraduate degree in Strategic Communication from the University of São Paulo (USP). He has extensive experience in the Social and Environmental fields and has also been responsible for strategic areas such as Institutional Relations and Communication. He worked for nearly 20 years in the Chemical and Petrochemical sectors. For 11 years, he was President of the Trata Brasil Institute, where he helped make the organization a national benchmark, coordinating dozens of studies, research projects, and initiatives aimed at mobilizing society for the expansion of basic sanitation in the country. While still at the helm of Trata Brasil, Édison won the "FAZ DIFERENÇA – Personalidades 2012" award from the newspaper O Globo (Revista Amanhã category), as the most outstanding individual in the field of Sustainability in Brazil. He is currently President of the Aegea Institute.

Maria Augusta Bottino

Position: Director of Sustainability

Organization: Alpargatas

Bio: With a degree in Environmental Management from ESALQ/USP and an MBA in Business Management from Insper, she has over 15 years of experience in corporate sustainability, working with corporate strategies and integrating socio-environmental variables into the business models of large corporations. Currently the Director of Sustainability at Alpargatas, she has also worked in the Pulp and Paper, Civil Construction, and Consulting segments, structuring and evolving the ESG agenda according to the specific needs of each business. Her expertise includes Sustainability Strategy, Circular Economy, Climate Change, Sustainable Finance, Transparency and Accountability, ESG Indices and Ratings, Social and Environmental Regulations, Education for Sustainability, Stakeholder Engagement, Corporate Social Responsibility, Private Social Investment, among others.

Leticia Mendes

Position: Sustainability Manager

Organization: OceanPact Maritime Services

Bio: Leticia Mendes has over 15 years of experience in sustainability, working in strategic management, socio-environmental projects, and stakeholder engagement. She holds a postgraduate degree in Project Management from UFRJ, a degree in Social Communication, and technical specializations in GRI and Environmental Management. She began her career at Petrobras, was a senior ESG manager at KPMG, and is currently the Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility manager at OceanPact, where she works on integrating corporate strategy and ocean conservation.

Alessandro Lickunas

Position: CMO & COO

Organization: Better Drinks

Bio: Alessandro Licunas is CMO and COO of Better Drinks, the group behind brands such as Praya Beer, Baer-Mate, and Mamba Water. After leading marketing and sales at Burger King in Brazil and Europe, he took a sabbatical to redefine the type of brand and company he wanted to build. He found this path at Baer-Mate and co-founded Better Drinks, now Heineken's impact brands arm within the Heineken Spin platform.

Cyntia Kasai

Position: Senior ESG and Communications Manager

Organization: C&A

Bio: An experienced professional in ESG, corporate governance, and social and environmental impact, Cyntia holds a Master's degree in Sustainability from POLI-USP, a degree in Production Engineering from UNESP, and an Executive MBA from FGV. With specializations from the University of Cambridge and the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGC), she has worked for over 15 years in sustainability and governance strategies, strengthening practices and generating value for shareholders and stakeholders. She currently leads ESG, Communications, and Social Impact at C&A. She is a member of ESG committees, a guest professor on Master's and Doctoral programs, and a mentor for women entrepreneurs.

Ligia Camargo

Position: Sustainability Director

Organization: HEINEKEN Group

Bio: Sustainability executive, specialist in ESG. Graduated in Marketing, with specializations in business and sustainability. She works as Sustainability Director of the HEINEKEN Group, leading strategies in the pillars of water and nature, circularity, carbon, brand causes, sustainable events and ESG governance. She has experience in multinational corporations (Danone, Unilever, Grupo Ultra), advisor to Capitalismo Consciente, professor at Fundação Dom Cabral and columnist for NeoMondo. She is passionate about sustainability and believes in the power of companies as agents of transformation. She works to unite purpose, positive impact and people's engagement around a more conscious future - and is a proud mother of twins.
